What is a Clavulinopsis Laeticolor Plant?
Clavulinopsis Laeticolor is one of the mushroom plants that only grows seasonally in our area in North Sumatra. The name Clavulinopsis Laeticolor is the scientific name for this plant, but in my area this plant is often called (kaji) or kaji fungus which grows in humid places and is protected from sunlight.

However, another fact states that Clavulinopsis Laeticolor is a coral fungus in the Clavariaceae family. It has a fruiting body with slender arms, bright orange to yellow to 5 cm long and 3 mm wide. It bears fruit singly or in loose clusters in the. soil,often among mosses.

In our area, the Clavulinopsis Laeticolor plant is often used as herbal medicine by boiling and then mixing the cooking water with brown sugar or granulated sugar to add or remove a little bitter taste in Clavulinopsis Laeticolor.
